I figured when I restarted blogging, I would be very good about doing it weekly. I seem to have lapsed into a biweekly or every 3rd week habit. Part of the problem is that Ani never lets me take pictures of her anymore. Whenever I try to snap some, she jumps up and starts screaming "I want to see! I want to see!" So I just give up, because any picture I try to get when she is not holding the camera, she will be purple with hysteria in it. She is getting very verbose. This morning as she was trying to carry her pillow pet, her three blankies, and the cat bed (just for kicks), her PJ pants got a little hung up. "My pants are falling down. Haha! That's funny!" And then she laughed. She has also learned how much "please" can get her. "I want a book." No, not right now, we're eating. "please?". Oh sure. "I want a lollipop." No, not right now. "pleeeeease?"Well, why not. "I want pony." Definitely no, for about 300 reasons. "PLEEEEEASE??" We will start building the pen right away, dear.

But with all the activity, he gets putty worn out. Ryan cleared off the ice by our house today, and they went skating. Or, depending on your perspective, Gavin went sitting.

Here is an example of a covert Ani picture. You have to love the style, though.
Gavin is doing well. He played hockey this morning and afternoon, then he fell asleep on the couch in his beloved aunt Kat's arms. He is hopefully down for the night, but he probably will be as he does not drink fluid, so he only pees every 3 days. He is loving skiing - we have him in skiing lessons, and we got him a harness so we could go down the hill with him. He really enjoys it. Ad it gave Ryan a knee and low back workout.
Last weekend I had a conference in New Hampshire at what I would describe as the Dirty Dancing hotel falling on hard times. The kids had a great time though. Ryan spent the entire time in the pool with them. There was both an indoor and outdoor pool as well as an indoor and outdoor hot tub. The kids were prune-y for two days. Here they are enjoying their complementary Indian headdresses:
